Becoming a new parent changes a person’s life in significant ways. The amount of responsibility and work that suddenly comes can often feel overwhelming. At the same time, becoming a parent can also show us a new level of love—and give us a glimpse of just how much our Heavenly Father loves us.
Because so much is at stake in becoming a parent, it should be no surprise that the Bible addresses the topic often. We find wisdom, guidance, and commands about parenting throughout the Word. We can also learn from couples who are applying biblical principles in their parenting—watching how they move forward in raising their children God’s way.
