“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.”
Becoming a new parent changes a person life in significant ways. The amount of responsibility and work that suddenly comes can often even seem overwhelming. At the same time, becoming a parent can also how us a new level of love and can also give us a glimpse of just how much our heavenly Father loves us. Because of how much is at stake in becoming a parent it should be of no surprise that the Bible addresses the topic a lot.
