Psalm 103:17, NIV
"But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children"
8:30pm everyday... PAUSE and stand in the gap. PAUSE for what? Not for what, but for who! Our CHILDREN, Our NEXT GENERATION! Stand in the gap for THEM, pray for THEM. They need us to fight for them, for their eyes to see, their ears to hear, and their hearts to understand the TRUTH. The enemy is attacking them from all angles, and they have no idea of the power by which they are being deceived. If Abraham stood in the gap for Lot, Moses stood in the gap for Israel, and Jesus stands in the gap for us... should we not also stand in the gap for our precious children?
I began to stand in the gap along with some of my friends last summer, and now God is telling me to share this effort so that more parents can stand TOGETHER. Are you willing to join with me and set an alarm on your phone for 8:30pm (eastern standard time) everyday? Then when it goes off, no matter what you are doing or where you are, pray for your children and the children of this generation.
Joshua 6:10, NIV
“But Joshua had commanded the army, ‘Do not give a war cry, do not raise your voices, do not say a word until the day I tell you to shout. Then shout!’”
Throughout 2021 and 2022, God had me gather a group of women who have passion and compassion for our next generation – our children. We began to walk into the battle field to fight for their souls through prayer. We can see that the enemy no longer attacks our children indirectly but fiercely attacks with his nets through broken media, education, government… and even at churches that do not teach about obedience, the wrath of God, and the wages of sin.
God has led us to engage in the battle for our children by tearing down one of the walled strongholds the enemy has built – education. To do this, He has led us to do just as Joshua did when he took the city of Jericho…
“Then the Lord said to Joshua, ‘See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.’” (Joshua 6:2-5, NIV)
God sent us to every school in our community to march around the school building seven times. After the seventh round we blew the trumpets and prayed right there in accordance with His will by the Holy Spirit's leading. Every time we march at a school, God’s presence is with us. He has shown us visions, spoken through us in prayer, and His angels are right there with us standing guard. We witnessed His glory and have seen the golden armor on Lord Jesus. We are thrilled and amazed, but we also feel the burden in our heart.
In this journey, I learned that the faith and obedience of Joshua and his army was absolute! That inspired me to know and realize that through faith and obedience, even massive and thick stoned walls like those of Jericho can be destroyed. Fear not! No matter what stronghold the enemy may have in our children's lives, through faith and obedience the Lord can break them down and we can charge straight in to victory!
List of towns and school systems that the team prayed for:
Columbiana

In total, the team walked and prayed around 42 individual school buildings. The whole cycle of the School Prayer Walk that the Lord placed in our hearts is now complete. Will there be more to come and more to do? As the Lord wills, it will happen. We encourage you to pray and see how the Lord may lead you in prayer to fight for our children.
