Christmas Love Mission.jpg

Matthew 10:42, NIV
"And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward."

For the past eight years we have held the annual Christmas Love Mission. Each year we see a variety of volunteers come together to prepare gift bags and cookies and then distribute them to people in the local area.

In 2023, a team of seven volunteers gathered to serve at a local nursing home and assisted living facility. We spent time singing Christmas music and working with the residents to create a hand made Christmas ornament. Many of the residents sang along and enjoyed a the time of fellowship and conversation. We also delivered 11 hand made lap blankets, a hand made quilt, and a hand made scarf to the facility who will be providing them to the residents who do not have family. It was a blessed day and we were filled with joy to be able to serve.

For 2024 we are in the process of praying about the Christmas Love Mission. If you would like to be a part of the team let us know by sending a message via our Contact Us page.

Somewhere Out There.jpg

Mark 16:15-16a, NLT
"And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved."

1 Corinthians 13:13, NIV
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

When we turn on the television or radio or when we look through social media or the newspaper we see many tragedies that happen all over the world. Many prayer are made when these things happen. But, when someone out there loses a loved one  to death,  losses their job, has a child who is very sick, or experiences a broken heart we may not notice. However, somewhere out there, someone is dealing with these things and above all other things, they need to know that God knows what they are experiencing and He cares for them and loves them.

God had led our hearts and given us the passion to perform a love letter mission. We are praying and committed to sending a letter which tells the recipient about the love that God has for them and also contains a prayer to people who we do not know. Just because we do not know who they are does not mean that they do not need to experience the love of Christ, and we are blessed to be able to share it with them. To start this mission we sent out 100 letters to people who we do not know and we are continuing to send more letters each week. Would you like to spread the love of Christ by sending a letter to someone as well? If this is something you feel led to do, seek the Lord and follow His lead!
