Matthew 10:42, NIV
"And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward."
For the past seven years we have held the annual Christmas Love Mission. Each year we see a variety of volunteers come together to prepare gift bags and cookies and then distribute them to people in the local area.

In 2023, a team of nine volunteers gathered to sort through 101 hand made scarves (made by volunteers throughout the year), a selection of hats and gloves, lip balm, hot chocolate packets, and over 300 handmade cookies. With these items they were able to create 101 gifts bags and another 107 cookie bags. After these bags were assembled, volunteers then prayed and broke out into different small groups and through the leading of the Holy Spirit were led to go to different locations in and around Salem, Lisbon, and Leetonia. Once they arrived they then handed out these gift bags to the people who the Lord connected them with. Some went into stores, others went to laundromats, hospitals, libraries, and other simply walked along the streets. As each person and team followed the leading of the Lord we saw the Lord do some amazing things!

For 2024 we are in the process of preparation and are in the process of making lap blankets and blessing bags for those who we will serve. If you would like to be a part of this team let us know by sending a message via our Contact Us page.

Mark 16:15-16a, NLT
"And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved."
1 Corinthians 13:13, NIV
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

When we turn on the television or radio or when we look through social media or the newspaper we see many tragedies that happen all over the world. Many prayer are made when these things happen. But, when someone out there loses a loved one to death, losses their job, has a child who is very sick, or experiences a broken heart we may not notice. However, somewhere out there, someone is dealing with these things and above all other things, they need to know that God knows what they are experiencing and He cares for them and loves them.
God had led our hearts and given us the passion to perform a love letter mission. We are praying and committed to sending a letter which tells the recipient about the love that God has for them and also contains a prayer to people who we do not know. Just because we do not know who they are does not mean that they do not need to experience the love of Christ, and we are blessed to be able to share it with them. To start this mission we sent out 100 letters to people who we do not know and we are continuing to send more letters each week. Would you like to spread the love of Christ by sending a letter to someone as well? If this is something you feel led to do, seek the Lord and follow His lead!
