Hannah's House Testimony
October 4, 2025
2 Corinthians 5:17, English Standard Version
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
Christie Schnader was celebrated this last Saturday when she successfully completed the 12-month residential program at Hannah’s House.
We could not be prouder of Christie. She had her share of ups and downs over this last year, but she persevered and grew stronger in her faith.
It was a true blessing to watch Christie begin to understand her identity in Christ.
Christie has had struggles in her life and never imagined being free from her addiction or healing from her traumas. But God! Whom the Son sets free is free indeed!!! And Christie has been able to experience that freedom and healing over this last year!!
Christie possesses a true servant's heart and a strong desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus to every person she encounters.
God has blessed her with the gifting of prayer, and she finds true joy and peace in praying over others.
Christie plans on staying with us in the transitional apartments. She has begun serving in the children's ministry at our church as God has placed working with children and showing them the love of Jesus in her heart.
We are so excited and beyond blessed to be able to watch Christie continue to grow in Christ– and to be able to witness where He takes her in this new season!
God truly does bring beauty from ashes. We do recover, and Christie is living proof!
