Galatians 2:20, New International Version
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Submission and surrender:
These words are not captivating. In fact, a wordsmith or AI would probably choose something a bit more flashy, such as: “embracing and yielding.”
The truth is that the process itself isn’t really captivating either. Which is why many of us ditch destiny for luxury.
I have felt the Lord in His kindness speaking the words: thorough and precision.
Sounds nice. But also messy— like a surgery.
Understanding that the Jehovah Rapha was at work within me, I wanted to understand what a thorough surgical process looked like…
“Thorough surgical work refers to a comprehensive approach to surgery, encompassing all aspects from pre-operative planning to post-operative care, with a focus on ensuring the best possible outcome for the patient. This includes careful attention to detail in every stage of the procedure, such as meticulous surgical technique, precise instrument handling, and a thorough understanding of anatomy. It also involves a focus on minimizing complications and maximizing recovery.”
I was in awe understanding that the Father cares about every little detail in our lives.
He not only sent His Son to ensure we would have eternity with Him, but He also gave us the keys to our destiny.
The catch? Surgery requires a partnership between the surgeon and the patient. The surgeon needs the patient to surrender and submit for the best possible outcome. This is how we ensure a thorough procedure is done with precision.
The Father’s hands are steady and stable— our temples just need to be surrendered and submitted.
He’s the Rapha —
But He is also the Teacher, empowering us by His Spirit to pass this test that leads to destiny.
