2 Corinthians 5:17, New International Version

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

I am so grateful for where God is leading me. When I look at my life now compared to where I once was, I never would have believed I would be here. God has truly blessed my walk with Him. As I remain steadfast and focused on Him, He guides every step. He is my everything. Life in this fallen world still comes with suffering, pain, and hardship, but there is nothing better than walking through it with Jesus. He is the hope we need in this world. Our Heavenly Father hears our prayers, and whenever we need Him, He is there. I have everything I need because I have Him.

There was a time when I was filled with countless desires. I chased so many things, yet every road without God left me empty and led to a dead end. Now I know that whatever this life may hold, Jesus is the goal.

God has given me a desire to serve Him with my whole life, and every time I do, I feel more fulfilled than before. He has blessed me abundantly. This week, I attended a meeting to join the jail ministry, and I am so thankful to be part of something so meaningful and beautiful.

Not only do I have the privilege of serving Him and having a relationship with Him, but He has also brought me a best friend who feels like family, The closest thing I have to a brother… Proof that family isn't always related by blood.

To be honest, I never thought I would have a friend like him. I prayed for it, but God exceeded my expectations. Like He always does.

He’s the kind of friend I can see doing life with for decades, from game nights and double dates with our future significant others to visiting each other when we’re old and gray. I have a wonderful church that has helped me grow in Christ and taught me how to serve my brothers and sisters in Christ and the Body of Christ, the Church. God has also blessed me with a job, a safe home, and a family who loves me unconditionally. They support me, encourage me, and never make me feel like I have to face life alone. I have never felt more alive than I do with Christ. Not only do I have this life, but I also have the eternal life He has given me.

Even if I were to lose everything, I would still have all that I truly need: God.

To God be all the glory. God is so great!!

He has changed my life so much.

He has changed my heart so much.
