I was blessed to be raised in a loving Christian home. My Mom and Dad took us to Sunday School and Church every Sunday and I prayed every night as a child. We were involved in every activity of our Presbyterian Church. They taught us Godly principles, but there was no Bible reading.

I knew nothing about having a personal relationship with God until I became an adult and got married. I always knew I wanted more of the Lord, and I was fed by TV ministries like TBN, CBN, PTL, and that’s where my faith grew.

Of course I was not perfect but I never wanted to disappoint my parents, so I was never involved in the sex culture, drinking, smoking and drugs of the 60’s. That’s why I have always thought I never really had a testimony of a “conversion” moment.

Again, I was blessed to be raised in a loving Christian home.
