Romans 10:14, New International Version
“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?”
For as long as I remember as a kid, I knew who God was. I went to church with my grandparents when I stayed with them and my mom and I would go at times also. I knew and I was praying at bedtime and for meals when there were special occasions. So, I knew and prayed to God, but it wasn’t until maybe 2020 when we couldn’t go anywhere, I came across a church and thought wow, the pastor didn’t preach about God, he explained and taught about Him so that began my wanting to understand things better.
Then I came across another preacher, and he was very good at explaining things. So, my wanting to understand the Bible became even more. I have tried to sit and read the Bible but could never stick to it because I was not understanding it. I had gone to a couple of Bible studies before I started with the wife of my Sunday church pastor, and they were good, but I have really enjoyed the studies with her and the ladies. It has helped me tremendously to understand about the Bible and God. It has really helped me to become patient, understanding, and thinking about my actions, etc.
I have really grown, and I love it! Yet I still have a lot to learn and understand for the Lord.
