Adoption

Luke 15:20, NIV
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him”

Adoption is a topic that is very close to the heart of the Christian. It’s something each person who gives their heart to Christ experiences. God adopts each of us into His family and makes us coheirs with Jesus.

The process of adoption is also something we see taking place in the world. Many people have either been adopted into a family or have been part of a family that adopted someone. When this happens, a range of emotions can be experienced by everyone involved.

What must it feel like to be adopted? What is it like when your parents adopt another child? What is it like to be the parent of a child you’ve adopted?

Join us as we explore the topic of adoption. We’ll hear and read firsthand testimonies from individuals who have experienced adoption from different points of view. We’ll also explore Biblical truth on the topic to see what the Lord says, and we’ll discuss practical ways to support others as they walk through the process of adoption.
