2 Corinthians 4:7, New Living Translation

“We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our power is from God, not ourselves.”

If you have accepted Christ as your Savior, you must know that you have an enemy that will try to take the life Christ has given you. We must also know that “We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we are sons are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not ourselves.” (2 Corinthians 4:7, NLT) Our enemy will try to blind us from the truth and turn us against Christ. “Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand the message about the glory of Christ, who is the likeness of God.” (2 Corinthians 4:4, NLT) We must remain aware, just as the Bible tells us that we are not ignorant of Satan’s devices.

Paul tells us in Ephesians 6:13-17 (NLT), “Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor, so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then, after the battle, you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting the belt of truth on and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on Salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” It’s more important for us to do this now than ever! We may not be able to explain where we are now and how we got here in our society, but we are all aware of what is happening. Slowly, our freedoms and rights are being taken away, and the church is sleeping. It’s time for the church of Christ to wake up and rise up! It’s time for us to wield the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God! Remember, “For the word of God is powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest, two edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and barrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.” (Hebrews 4:12-13, NLT)

You are not alone! God is raising up a remnant! You are part of that remnant! “No, God Has not rejected his own people, who he chose from the very beginning.” Do you realize what the scriptures say about this? Elijah the prophet complains to God about the people of Israel and said “LORD, they have killed your profit and torn down your altars. I am the only one left and now they’re trying to kill me too.” And do you remember God ‘s reply? He said, “No, I have 7,000 Others who have never bowed down to Baal! (Romans 11:2-3, NLT) Just as God had that remnant, then, He has one now, you and me! We must not bow down to the evil of this world! He doesn’t call us to be complacent and afraid! No! He called us to be courageous! He told us to not be afraid! He told us He would be with us to the very end of the age!

“This is command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9, NLT)

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” (2 Timothy 1:7, NLT)

“Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew28:20, NLT)

I am being vulnerable, sharing my heart with you! We must stand up and use the voice God has given us! Not in our power or strength, but in His might and power! I want to encourage you to do this before it’s too late! The enemy is working day and night… he doesn’t stop! We need to charge the gates of hell and start taking back the ground that has been taken from us! We need to fight for our children, who are the future generations to come! We need to fight for our marriages and restore the family structure, fight for our families! We need to fight for truth, because it is truth, it is Jesus, who set the captive free!

Never in my life did I ever imagine America being in such chaos and confusion. Never in my life did I ever think I would see so many broken and hurting people! Never in my life did I ever think this nation would turn its back on its creator, God! Every moment is crucial to what will happen next, whether it be in America, Canada, China, or any other country in this world. The body of Christ must unite, and it must stand! “Then if my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. My eyes will be opened in my ears, attentive to every prayer made in this place. I have chosen this Temple and set it apart to be holy— a place where my name will be honored forever. I will watch over it, for it is dear to my heart.” (2 Chronicles 7:14-16, NLT)

It starts with us! Humility before the Lord, crying out to Him! Then He will hear us from heaven! We are His Saints, precious in His sight! He will go before us in the battle, and because He will and He does, the victory is His! There was a question posed last Sunday to the church. The right question isn’t “Should I do this?” The right question to ask is, “Is this the right thing to do?” Will you choose to do what is right and stand up for righteousness’s sake? I don’t ask this question to condemn us, it is the passion God has put in my heart, the love for Jesus, and the love for my brothers and sisters in Christ for us to continue to contend for our freedom together! Because who the Son sets free is free indeed!
