2 Timothy 3:16-17, New America Standard Bible)

"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work."

"This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success." (Joshua 1:8, NASB)

"What you don't know won't hurt you" Have you ever heard that? I don't agree. We have to know God’s Word, so we can know how to live, what He desires of us, and how to fight the enemy's attacks. We can't walk around ignorant and uneducated in the Word of God. It's like walking around blindfolded, aimlessly going through life.

Knowing and applying God's Word is crucial for living a holy life. Studying the Bible provides guidance, wisdom, and understanding of God's character and will, which are essential for aligning your life with His principles.

Here's why understanding and applying God's Word is vital for holiness:

Guidance and Wisdom:

The Bible acts as a guide, lighting the path to righteousness and offering wisdom to navigate life's challenges.

Understanding God's Character:

Studying scripture reveals God's attributes, His love, and His expectations for His followers, allowing for a deeper relationship with Him.

Obedience and Love:

Following God's commands, as revealed in the Bible, demonstrates love and reverence for Him.

Transformation:

The Word of God has the power to transform lives, convicting individuals of sin and guiding them towards righteousness.

Spiritual Growth:

Regular scripture reading brings spiritual growth and helps believers develop a more Christ-like character.

In essence, God's Word serves as the foundation for a holy life, providing the principles, wisdom, and power necessary for living in accordance with His will, according to Christian teachings.

Don't walk around blind in this life, read, meditate, and know God’s Word!
