Romans 8:31, New International Version

“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Recently, at a mental health facility where my husband and I serve, we engaged with a strong spiritual atmosphere that came when the patients entered the room. I immediately felt the intimidation and darkness of the enemy as an attempt to render me speechless. When my husband turned over the microphone to me, right then I remembered the sweatshirt I was wearing under my jacket, and I said to myself, "Lord, let’s see if they can stand in Your greatness!" I took off my jacket, and the sweatshirt had the cross and the sword on the front!

Immediately, I opened my mouth, and the words came - deep with compassion and the unfailing love of God. His love is unbelievable and was being revealed in a strong way. Many of the patients sat with their feet on top of the tables in defiance, but soon all of the feet which were on the tables were on the floor again. There was quietness and tears started to flow.

There were many who were lost, and the Lord called them by their names!

At the end, one lady came over to me and hugged me and spoke to me in a language I didn’t understand. She had a towel wrapped around herself like a monk. At that moment, the Spirit who was in me responded in a tongue and gave me a thought that this was His protection over me.

I bow to my Lord and to His love and power! Thank you to the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit!
