Fritz's Life - His Testimony
Hello my name is Fritz Houy, I do a lot of things today that I am incapable of doing (yes you read that right). I did have a history but today I have His Story and that's what changed everything and I'll share some of that with you.
My testimony is not unique, I have come to understand that there are many who have the same or similar story as mine over the years. What is important is what He did. I was the guy who had to lose it all, who had to find how far down was.
You have heard this part before so I will spare you the details. The one thing I will tell you is that I am not the guy who had an epiphany, learned his lesson and pulled himself up by the bootstraps, not quite the opposite.
When I exhausted all of my resources that included everyone who truly loved me I tried my last resort, God. Losing everything was the best thing that ever happened to me. That is why I can do things I am incapable of today! It's all about Jesus! I will share with you some stats. I am a husband today, I am a father today, I am a husband today, I am a therapist today, I am a deacon today, I hold two associates degrees today, I am a son today, I am a brother today, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me today! These may not sound impressive to most of the world but they are precious to me.
​I have so many favorite verses from the Bible, but the one I am focusing on now is Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength and a very present help in times of trouble." This is because I have recently had a lot of trouble. This is because I thought God only cared about the big issues and I did not include him in all of my life. Because of this I developed some BIG issues. I am still learning!
