2026 North Macedonia Mission Trip
Coria Brock's Testimony

North Macedonia, a place where I never thought that one day I would be sent to do His work. I still remember that specific morning when the Lord spoke to me through the passage of the “Macedonian Call” in Acts 16:9, and the first reaction I had was a question: Where is Macedonia? From that moment, the Lord led my steps, from learning where it was to the last day of the mission trip. Does that mean I knew every detail of each step? I did not. Yet we had a team, and we functioned as the body of Christ. This counts!
“When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful.” (Proverbs 29:18, NLT)
Joyful! This was the key to this mission, and to every mission. The vision the Lord had given me was this: this is a journey for us to go deeper in understanding His love and walking with Him. Oh, how joyful it is to go deeper with our Lord Jesus! No matter what we faced on the road, we had already gained.
There were challenges in our physical bodies, challenges of self, including self-expectations, self-agenda, self-flexibility, and self-comfort zones, and challenges of the unknown with the same daily question: “What do You have us here to do, Lord?” Then we learned to trust, yield to Him, and obey.
What does the Lord want us to obey? Love God and love people! Under each and every challenge, were we focused on ourselves, or on His call to love? When there were moments when the mind games came, the Lord sent His love reminders.
Daily, we received the church’s prayer points, which divinely pointed our way.
Every morning, the Lord had His right-on-time devotion spoken through each team member, as well as through visions and dreams.
At a plaza, a restaurant, with believers, and with non-believers, encouragement came from both sides. I remember the conversation I had with a young man who sat on a bench in Macedonia Square, where God sent us on the first day we were there. The conversation went from him mentioning that religion could not give him what he needed in life. He went on to say that one day he hoped he would call on Jesus and Jesus would show up.
I remember how the Lord hid the part of our belief differences so I could freely share my testimony with a couple who were Jehovah’s Witnesses and a young lady who was Orthodox, and also share my love for Jesus with a young adult who was Muslim.
I remember another missionary reaching out to us in a café and telling us that he saw what we were doing, and he gave us a word from the Lord.
I remember how the Lord instructed us to give a love offering to the church that welcomed us, and He used the verse about the five loaves and two fish. This represented exactly the money bills that were in my pocket, and the meaning for this very church was: multiply.
I remember a text from a young couple who are serving in young adult ministry, telling us how the team and the blessings were an answer the Lord used to respond to their prayer.
Even a word and a favor from a server in one of the places where we had dinner spoke to us on our last evening there: “The coffee is on the house.” What we saw and heard was the Lord who was pleased.
What did we actually do that pleased the Lord? I could not boast, but simply reply to this question with the actual work we listened to and obeyed.
There is still mission to expand, develop, and multiply. There are times for sowing seeds, times for watering, and there will be a time to harvest. The relationships that were built are only the beginning.
May the Lord’s will be done!
