Luke 16:8, Amplified Bible

“And his master commended the unjust manager [not for his misdeeds, but] because he had acted shrewdly [by preparing for his future unemployment]; for the sons of this age [the non-believers] are shrewder in relation to their own kind [that is, to the ways of the secular world] than are the sons of light [the believers].”

I have often mentioned how much I enjoy watching movies, but what makes it even more meaningful is when I invite the Lord to watch with me. When we honor Him as our guest—even in something as simple as a movie - He often brings insight and perspective we would have otherwise missed.

Recently, my husband and I watched the newest Mission Impossible film. Early in the movie, a line stood out to me: “The truth is vanishing; the war is coming.” That hit me deeply. Isn’t that exactly what we see in our world today? And then another verse came to mind: “The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly… for the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.” (Luke 16:8, AMP)

Even the world is starting to notice what Scripture has been warning us about. Truth is being replaced with personal opinion. Conviction is mocked. Faithfulness to God is rare. But the Bible already told us this would happen: “For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine… They will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.” (2 Timothy 4:3)

Over a decade ago, God called me to begin building His army—from “Abba Army” to what has now become “ALL IN Warrior.” I truly believe He is preparing believers all over the world to rise up, stand firm, and be equipped for the days ahead. As Romans 13:11 says, “The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.”

Christians, are you awake? Are your eyes fixed on things above or still distracted by the world? Are your feet planted firmly in the Kingdom, or are you still dancing between God’s Kingdom and the world?

“The truth is vanishing; the war is coming.” What do you do with it? Jesus said, “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.” (Matthew 24:42)

“… Watch out that no one deceives you.” (Matthew 24:4, NIV)
